Charcoal at 1 Year (left) and Fern at 3 Years Fern Breed: Labrador Retriever Mix Gender: Female Story: We got Fern from a shelter in South Carolina. She was very sick when we got her. For the first couple of weeks we went to the vet every day for IV treatment. She was one sick little puppy and we almost lost her! She just loves everyone and everyone loves her! Charcoal Breed: Labrador Retriever Mix Gender: Male Story: About a year and a half ago we got Charcoal. He came from the same shelter, and he definitely keeps us on our toes! The both of them love doing everything! Swimming, hiking—just about anything as long as they are with us and going on rides. They sleep on the bed with us; well, THEY have the bed.
