Story: Rudy has to wear a brace because he tore a tendon in his back leg last year and his bad heart precluded surgery. He remains active and a part of the pack.
All of our dogs are rescues. It's always amazing to think that someone didn't want them. We live in the country and so they enjoy their freedom, especially walks in the woods, being on the lookout for rabbits and squirrels, and barking at the neighbors' cows. We also own a primitive camp (with a pond!) surrounded by 18,000 acres of state forest--probably close to the definition of dog heaven. Because we are retired we can spend a lot of time with them, which we all enjoy. We have tried many premium foods but have been extremely pleased with Flint River. Having it shipped directly to us is a big plus! I also make some homemade food to add to the kibble. Our dogs are very healthy and their coats are gorgeous.
