Maggie at 1 Year

Breed: Rottweiler/American Pit Bull Terrier/German Shepherd DogWeight: 63 pounds
Gender: Female
Favorite Food: She likes peanut butter and ice cubes.
Favorite Activities: She likes to periodically look out of all the windows in the house for signs of her nemeses, the squirrels.
Favorite Place to Sleep: She sleeps in her crate.
Special Skills or Responsibilities: She's good at catching anything in her mouth, as long as it's thrown high in the air.
Story: We adopted Maggie when she was very young. At first she was very cute, as just about any puppy is. Then she got a little older and bigger, and had all of the energy, nervousness, and independence that one would expect of a Shepherd/Rotty mutt. She would often let out huge bursts of energy, running in circles around the room, over as much furniture as she could and as fast as she could. She was always very sensitive, however, and loves people.

Lately, Maggie has become a lot calmer, on account of her getting older. She has also become more obedient and mindful of people's moods. We love Maggie, and find it a shame that so many wonderful dogs like her cannot find homes.
