Flint River Ranch Senior PLUS Kibble includes a wholesome and rich source of glucosamine and chondroitin sulfate that can help to maintain healthy joint cartilage and alleviate symptoms of osteoarthritis in older, mature dogs. Other ingredients are the same as our Senior Kibble Dog Food.

Glucosamine and chondroitin sulfate are substances found naturally in the body. Glucosamine is a form of amino sugar that is believed to play a role in cartilage formation and repair. Chondroitin sulfate is part of a large protein molecule (proteoglycan) that is an important structural component of cartilage and gives cartilage elasticity. They have become a widely used dietary supplement for treatment of osteoarthritis.

Dogs of all ages may benefit from glucosamine and chondroitin sulfate supplements. For dogs that are not eating this Senior PLUS Kibble, we recommend our Jubilee Wafers.

This food is shipped in bags of 20 pounds or less for your convenience. If you order 40 pounds, for instance, you will receive a shipment of two 20-pound bags. So don't worry about lugging around a 40-pound bag of dog food!
